Yolect vs EasyGen: which LinkedIn writing tool fits you?
5 min read
EasyGen and Yolect both help you write LinkedIn posts with AI, but they start from opposite ends. EasyGen starts from what is working for other creators. Yolect starts from what you already know.
This is our comparison, so read it with that in mind. We have tried to describe EasyGen fairly, from its own public pages and independent reviews, as of October 2026. Check their site for current details.
The short version
- Choose EasyGen if you want topic ideas drawn from trending content and top creators' posts, and you are comfortable with a Chrome-extension workflow.
- Choose Yolect if you have real expertise and want posts built from your own voice notes, YouTube talks or rough thoughts — in the way you actually write.
Where each tool starts
EasyGen describes itself as using data from top 1% LinkedIn creators plus trending-topic research to write posts that get engagement. It was built by Ruben Hassid, a LinkedIn creator with a very large audience.
Yolect starts with capture: a voice note after a client call, a link to a podcast you appeared on, or a few rough lines. It learns your writing from your published posts and checks every draft against how you write and what you believe before you see it.
Pricing
Independent reviews list EasyGen at $59.99 per month, or $599.88 per year, with a short free trial.
Yolect has a free plan with 25 AI generations a month, no card needed. Pro is $29 per month or $290 per year (₹2,499 / ₹24,900 in India). There is no trial because the free plan is permanent.
What Yolect does not do
Yolect does not schedule or auto-publish to LinkedIn. You copy the finished post, with a preview that shows exactly how it will look in the feed. If scheduling inside the tool matters to you, weigh that.
